THE remains of Hewell Road Social Club near Redditch town centre, which has been left untouched since it was demolished early last year, will soon be cleared and redeveloped.
Work should begin on the site by early spring, according to agent and architect Ron Skidmore, who represents developer Caf Quote, of Crabbs Cross.
The plans will see 10 one-bedroom flats and four two-bedroom flats built on the site.
Mr Skidmore said he hoped the flats would be built by this time next year.
The developers and Redditch Council are finalising a legal agreement which means Cafe Quote makes a contribution to education services in the area before work begins.
