FOUR of last year's winners at the Oxford University Hunt Club Point-to-Point meeting are set to line up in the 2005 fixture at Kingston Blount on Saturday.
Two of them are trained by Lawney Hill. Murphy's Magic won the confined maiden last year, and is entered in the restricted this time, while the winner of that race in 2004, Mr Splodge, is entered in the mixed open and confined races.
The Aston Rowant handler also has Top Bombing in the open maiden and confined maiden, while Bolide Du Aunay has engagements in either the members and restricted races.
Last year's mens open winner Father Andy, trained by Roger Wernham, is entered in the mixed open, the feature race on Saturday. The Wan-tage handler also has Barabbas and Onya in the open maiden, and Caraiyni in the restricted.
Down, who won the members race last year, is looking to win the race for a second successive season for the Edge Hill stable of Robert Waley-Cohen, who also has Kerres Noires entered in the same race.
Ryan's Star, twice successful last season for Ettington combination of trainer Fred Hutsby and rider Joanna Parris, also lines up in the feature event.
Cotswolds hopes lie with Parahandy, from Kim Smy-ly's Stanton yard, that also has Maquilleux in the members race.
Ski Country represents Fran Marriott's Chipping Norton stable in the open maiden, while stablemate Eastern Apple lines up in the confined maiden.
The first of six races on the card at Kingston Blount takes place at 12 noon. For more information call Talking Point on 09068 446061.
