EHS UNITED edge closer to the top of the MK Technical Services Division 3B with a hard-fought victory over leaders Pershore Plums.
Daniel Young beat both Dave Crouchley and Stu Grant but the two Plums both overcame Craig Young to level the match. He then teamed up with Don Gould to take the doubles 11-9, 9-11, 10-12, 11-3, 11-5 to seal the victory.
The United Boys followed up with 5-0 wins over SDM Rangers and Littleton Toms to remain unbeaten.
The Plums themselves also won 5-0 against Blackminster Bullets and then overcame Littleton Toms 4-1.
Second-placed Littleton Stars' James Parry-Reece and Dan Brown kept up the pressure on the leaders with victories over Blackminster Bullets 5-0 and Bats 4-1.
Parry-Reece was beaten by both Robert and David Thompson from Littleton Toms but Brown won the reverse singles and then, together with Parry-Reece, won the doubles and the match 3-2.
Overcame
Alex Virgo overcame Jamie Sellick 11-4, 11-9, 13-11 to help Blackminster Bullets to a 4-1 success over Leaping Leo-pards.
SDM Rangers went down 4-1 to both Blackminster Bats and Leaping Leopards. Jack Smout beat Liam Hundley and Liam Wilson to earn the Rangers a point in each game.
In Division 3C, leaders Litt-leton Best went down 3-2 to Jack Wood and Joa Turner from SDM Lions but bounced back with 5-0 wins over Black-minster Bears and Bees.
The Lions whitewashed SDM Eagles 5-0 and, with Katie Sellick making a guest appearance, beat the previously unbeaten SDM Hardhitters 3-2.
Hardhitters' Dan Hartland and Ed Rigg beat clubmates Eagles and Batbashers 5-0 and, with games in hand, could still take the title.
Callum Bailey was unbeaten for Littleton Allsorts in their wins over Blackminster Bees and Bears. However, Tom Hemming narrowly beat him when the Allsorts lost 4-1 to SDM Batbashers.
Colin Green and Jamie Brown from Wyre Destroyers defeated both Ashton Angels and Littleton Gremlins 5-0 and remain on course to lift the Division 3A title.
Littleton Legends' 3-2 victory over clubmates Blades keeps them top of the table but they have played a game more than the Destroyers.
Third-placed Sellick sisters Rachael and Katie from Ash-ton Angels beat Littleton Gre-mlins 3-2 who themselves came out on top 3-2 over clubmates Rock and Rollers.
