BARRY Stayte won last Saturday's Wye Cup for senior members at a contest fished at Belmont.
The winner edged out Gary Summers, while Matt Kibble was the junior winner on a clear river on a day when only dace were netted.
Two large bream won the day 24 hours later in the Avon Shield Series at Pensham where Phil Seed-house topped the standings when again sport was slow on a rising river.
It's the fourth leg of the Evesham Association's Winter League on Sunday and captains are urged to get their teams organised at the Ferry Cafe for 7.45am.

Evesham WMC
A CLEAR River Avon at Marlcliff proved tough going for anglers with half the field dry netting!
However, Stuart Robinson bagged three chub, one weighing 3.7.0, for a winning weight of 6.6.0.
Phil Preston was runner-up with a couple of chub in a bag weighing 5.3.0, while Vic Woods, with seven small fish (0.3.0) and Robin Locke (0.2.0) took the next two places.
There's no match this weekend due to the Evesham Association Winter League.
