AN EXCITING programme of half-term activities has been arranged at a Wychbold garden centre.
Webbs of Wychbold, in Worcester Road, is running a variety of events for youngsters throughout the week, beginning on Monday with a magic show.
The programme runs at 2pm daily and is then repeated at 3pm with events as follows:
n Monday: Magic show.
n Tuesday: Marionette puppet theatre.
n Wednesday: Animal safari.
n Thursday: Punch and Judy puppet show.
n Friday: Pirate Pete's stories and songs.
Children will also be able to have their faces painted in return for a donation for the Asian tsunami appeal.
And budding gardeners can learn how to pot a plant with a number of workshops running every day of the holiday between 10am and 4pm.
Each potting session lasts 20 minutes and costs £2.50. Tickets are available at the centre's main tills.
"Our half-term activities always prove really popular with youngsters and their mums and dads, said Ed Webb, spokesman for the garden centre.
"There's so much to do and with different activities each day there's plenty to keep everyone happy.
"Our junior potting workshop is a new activity this year, which we're sure the children will love - they just can't wait to get their hands in the soil and will learn a bit about plants along the way."
Next month, youngsters will be able to join further potting workshops just in time for Mother's Day. They will run on the afternoon of Friday, March 4, and all day on Saturday, March 5.
