IT is with grave concern that we read the letter from a Stourport resident regarding the neglect of the Civic Hall and, we would like to add our fears over the Civic Centre.
Many Stourport people have spoken to us about the concern they have for these buildings. They are at the heart of Stourport, just as village halls are to those who live in villages. Many people care about these focal buildings.
The Civic Centre is as important to Stourport as the town hall is to Kidderminster and the guild hall/museum is to Bewdley so we implore all Stourport councillors - town, district and county - to pull together and find a way to restore our buildings to the state they deserve for the people of Stourport.
