TWO goalkeepers from Kidderminster Harriers Girls Centre of Excellence have been selected for hands on training at an England development camp.
Sophie LeGros and Abbey Lewis will take part in the February half-term get-together after impressing national scouts while playing for Harriers.
The girls train every Thursday evening at University College Worcester under the guidance of Harriers Community coaches.
Centre Director Nick Griffiths said: "The girls have been with us for three seasons now, so this is a great reward for their hard work and dedication.
"To have two goalkeepers selected is unusual and a massive achievement".
The duo's invitation was the second boost for the centre received after Severn Trent Telecoms agreed to sponsor the girls football.
Along with the Government's Sportsmatch initiative £2000 will be contributed towards developing girls and women's football coaching.
