A VALE lorry driver married the woman of his dreams, after meeting her on a mercy mission to Belarus.
Steve and Natasha Worton, who live in Bewdley Street, Evesham met when Steve delivered a lorry load of aid to the hospital where, Natasha, 24 was working as a translator.
Natasha agreed to keep in touch by e-mail but it wasn't until she brought a party of children to Britain that the three-year friendship blossomed.
Steve's parents Mo and Mike from Elmley Castle founded the charity Chernobyl 2000 and it was through that which brought the pair together.
Steve's mother, Mo said: "We are absolutely thrilled. We never would have believed when we started the charity that things would turn out like this." The pair married at Evesham Register Office on January 29.
