KIDDERMINSTER Harriers Ladies came back from a goal behind to record a convincing 6-1 win over Solihull Glades.

Holly Alldred fired Solihull in front after just two minutes, but Harriers soon hit back in style.

Kidderminster levelled the scores on five minutes when Vicky Roberts struck after good work from Emma Jones and Sam Rogers.

In the 24th minute, Harriers' second goal arrived when a Rachel Baldwin strike found the top corner from 25 yards out.

Just before half time Harriers top scorer Emma Purslow added a third goal when she beat the off side trap and lobbed the advancing keeper.

Lynsey Pollard netted their fourth in the 57th minute by taking full advantage to score from close range after a defensive mistake.

Lisa Stokes had been a constant thorn in Solihull's side and finally got the goal she deserved from a Rogers corner on 67 minutes.

Baldwin completed the rout with her second goal of the game on 80 minutes with Purslow claiming an assist.

The match included a pleasing first start from Hayley Beech.

Harriers Reserves also hit their opponents for six with an emphatic victory over Evesham in the Wyvern Associates Cup.

Kisty Roberts netted a hat-trick with Kayley Turner, Hayley Watkiss and Sue Stokes also on target as they came from behind to win 6-2.

On Sunday the firsts are away at Stoke City with the reserves travelling to Worcester City.

Burlish Olympic have injury worries ahead of their Hospital Cup semi-final showdown with Headless Cross on Sunday.

Karina Farr and Debbie Prescott are nursing knocks, while boss Dave Glass could also be without several other players.

Farr and Prescott were both on target along with Mary Calder as Olympic eased to a 3-1 league win over Droitwich Spa last weekend.

Suzy Carter was the player of the match.

Burlish are still in third, but the win moves them closer to Worcester who lost to their own reserve side.
