CHADDESLEY Corbett swept into the quarter finals of the North Midlands under-15s plate competition with an impressive 22-12 win at Birmingham Solihull.
Despite falling behind, Chaddesley soon hit back with two tries from man of the match Wayne Cooper, efforts from Richard Fry and Bob Lawrenson and a conversion.
Kidderminster Carolians under-13s suffered heartbreak when they 28-26 lost to a last gasp try to Walsall.
There were two tries from Will Short, with Alex Hopkirk and Scott Mundie also on target before the late lapse.
Short also kicked two conversions with Billy Mullins kicked another.
The under-sevens clash with Herford finished all square at six tries each with Ben Pinner scoring a hat-trick and Tom Middleton, Elliot Murphy and Thomas Kerrigan also crossing the line.
It was also honours even between the under-10s and their Hereford counterparts with James Tildesley scoring as it finished one try all.
In a final match against a weakened Hereford side, KCs ran out four tries to one winners with tries from Charlie Hopkirk, Aaron Pooler, Lewis Hardy and Jordan Hatch.
There was little to choose between the teams as KCs under-nines played their part in a thrilling three match showdown with Hereford.
They lost the first match 15- 5 with Ryan Hatton's first try for the club their only consolation.
The second match finished in a 15-15 draw with Jamie Williams bagging a brace and David Bissett also going over.
And KCs won the third match 15-5 to square it on the day with tries from Tom Mayall, Tom Phipps and Jonti Newbould.
