DROITWICH Hockey Club face a huge match this Saturday in their march towards promotion.
Paul Atkinson's side, currently five points clear at the top of West Midlands Division One, host second-placed Walsall, who have a game in hand.
Victory would greatly strengthen Droitwich's title hopes and Atkinson said: "It is a massive game. It's a real six-pointer."
Droitwich go into the game on the back of a 3-2 win at Market Drayton last weekend, while Walsall were held 1-1 by Rugeley.
Ed Deacon cancelled out Market Drayton's early opener before Nick Adams and Barry Williams' penalty flick opened up a 3-1 advantage ahead of the hosts' second.
"It was always going to be a tough game so we are pleased to come away with three points," Atkinson added.
n Luke Hine scored a hat-trick as the Seconds ground out a 5-3 home victory against Stratford.
Stratford took the lead from a short corner early on but Droitwich's pressure paid off before half-time as they drew level through Hine's penalty.
A frantic second-half saw Droitwich take the lead through another Hine penalty flick but Stratford soon equalised and then went ahead.
Hine's third penalty made it 3-3 and, as Droitwich grew in confidence, Dan Best added a fourth and Nick Bates the fifth.
