MARY Smith told members of the origins of antiques they took to the January meeting. "Thank you" letters for donations had been received from Operation Covert and Cancer Research, and the certificate from the Macmillan Nurses.
The National Federation is challenging members to walk 90 miles, in celebration of its 90th anniversary. Members are advised to keep a record of their walks and the winner will receive the Elizabeth Bell Trophy.
Fiona Lucas will take a workshop for Iris craft, the date to be announced. Dates for the diary: lunch at the Ramada Hotel, Bewdley, on March 2.
The next Lickhill meeting, in the Memorial Park community centre, will be at 10am on Wednesday, when Sue Robinson will talk about "Micro Magic".
