THE eagerly-anticipated arrival of the final batch of tsunami Wishbands is due to arrive soon and will be going on sale across Worcestershire.
The first 5,000 bands, which arrived last week, were snapped up and already the total amount raised for the victims of the tsunami stands at more than £7,500.
Another 10,000 of the aquamarine wristbands, embossed with the words Tsunami - Funding a Future were due to arrive today.
Celebrities, schools, and local dignitaries have all pledged their support to the Evening News Tsunami Wishband Appeal, which aims to raise more than £22,500 for the appeal.
The money will go towards UNICEF's rehabilitation of the people and communities that were devastated on Boxing Day.
The Wishbands have been funded by the Evening News in partnership with the Worcestershire County Council, Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce, Cathedral Plaza and CrownGate Shopping Centre.
They cost £1.50 each and to make sure you get your Wishband fill in the coupon below and return it to the Evening News with your money.
Alternatively you can pick one up from most newsagents and from the Cathedral Plaza and CrownGate Shopping Centre from next week.
