COMMUNITY groups have another opportunity to apply for a grant of up to £250 from Malvern Hills Lions Club.
The club plans to hand out £1,000 in the second phase of its Community Grants scheme and is seeking applications from local groups and organisations.
In the first phase, in December, seven groups and organisations were awarded money, including Welland Junior Football Club, Leigh and Bransford Villages Playgroup and Ledbury's Urchins Tots to Teens.
Any local group can apply and those that were unsuccessful in the first phase can apply again.
The grants will be allocated to those that the Lions feel would benefit most from the money.
Club spokesman David Jeavons said: "We're actively seeking applications from any local groups, so we can help as many as possible."
Applicants should fill in the coupon in this week's Malvern Gazette and attach a typed application stating how much money is needed, how it would be spent and why it is deserved.
Both parts should then be sent to the Lions Club Grant Scheme, Malvern Gazette, Broads Bank, Malvern, Worcestershire, WR14 2HP, by Friday, March 4.
