Established Malvern singer- songwriter Clive John has released his fifth album.
Impressions contains a mixture of original material and cover songs and was recorded at Covender Farm, near Ashperton.
Clive, who has been working on the album since last March, said it was the first time he has recorded covers.
"I decided to make this album a bit different and do some famous covers, but there's also a lot of my own material on it too," he explained.
He said the album was entirely acoustic, with strong country and Irish influences.
"There are all kinds of instruments involved, from fiddles to double base and drums, it's all very acoustic."
Clive has recently become the proud father of baby son Harrison Daniel Phillips, but that hasn't stopped him maintaining a busy schedule.
He will be performing with his band Clearwood at venues around the two counties over the coming months.
Popular country performer Daniel O'Donnell has shown an interest in Clive's work.
"I had a phone call from him four months ago and had a meeting with him at one of his concerts," he said.
"He said he really likes my music and was going to put my band forward to his recording company."
Six of Clive's songs have made it into the top five of the Independent Country charts over the past four years and several songs have been featured on Best of British Country Music CDs.
He said he was over the moon with the latest album.
Impressions is £11.99 and is available on www.clivejohn.com or from All Occasions card shop in Court Road, Malvern.
