A THEATRE in Worcester will be transporting an audience back in time to an 18th Century salon when it stages a Mozart opera on Wednesday.
Mozart's tunes were the pop songs of the day and were re-arranged for quintets, trios or solo instruments so that everyone could enjoy them.
Opera Box has done the same for the performance of Mozartissimo, which will be performed at the city's Swan Theatre at 7.30pm.
"All lavishly costumed, artists are dressed in period costumes, complete with wigs and played before a Baroque set creating an appropriate atmosphere for what is a most enjoyable evening," said a spokesman for the theatre.
Tickets cost £15 and can be purchased by calling Huntingdon Arts Box Office on 01905 611427.
