A THEATRE has ensured its first performance of 2005 was a sell-out.
The Rose, in Chester Road North, Kidderminster, raised more than £1,000 for the victims of the Boxing Day tsunami, with a production of Habeas Corpus by Alan Bennett.
However, the fund-raising has not stopped there. Proceeds from the next show, Caught on the Hop by Derek Benfield, will also go to charity. And a gala night, also at the Rose Theatre, will be held on Saturday, February 19 in support of the tsunami appeal.
"This promises to be a fabulous evening full of variety and great range of talent," added Mr Wakeman
Tickets cost £10 and are on sale for the show, which starts at 7.30pm. For enquiries call 01562 743745, log onto www.rosetheatre.co.uk or e-mail admin@rosetheatre.co.uk.
