VISITORS to the Guildhall in Worcester will be transported back in time with a Living History event next Saturday, February 26.
Members of Worcester Re-enactors will create realistic settings from several hundred years of history, from the Middle Ages, to the Second World War.
Among the scenarios played out will be Napoleon's retreat from Moscow, where 90 per cent of his army fell victim to the fierce Russian winter.
Each scenario will be home for the day for up to a dozen re-enactors, and members of the public will be encouraged to walk around the displays and, in some cases, take part.
Living History in Worcester is free to the public, although a collection bucket will be available for the tsunami appeal.
The event runs from 8.30am-4.30pm.
