POLICE are appealing for information after a woman had her bag snatched in Redditch on Thursday.
The woman was in the car park of Matalan in Nailsworth Road at about 7.30pm when she heard someone running up behind her.
A man snatched her bag, causing her to fall over, and ran off.
The large brown leather handbag contained cash, bank cards, a mobile phone and cosmetics.
The man was white, about 20 years old, of medium height and build and wearing a woollen hat.
Dc Bob Cockburn says: "The woman was pulled over as her bag was stolen and has suffered minor injuries to her shoulder as well as feeling very shaken by her ordeal.
"We are appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident or saw the man in the Nailsworth Road area to get in touch.''
