THERE were two aces in the Wharton Park pack when Judy Parmenter and Pauline Oliver sunk impressive holes-in-one.
Playing off a handicap of 36, Parmenter's was a 111-yard par three, while Oliver, handicap 22, celebrated a 93-yard par three on the 15th.
Oliver's ace came in the first February Mixed Winter League game and it ensured she and partner Alan Walker won with 45 stableford points, giving them 15 merit points.
The current overall leaders (with three more games to play)are David & Sue Smart - 71 merit points, Keith Kirton and Jenny Andrews 65, Steve and Di Owen 63.
With two more games to go in the Men's Winter League, Jason Rushgrove leads the field with 46 points from John Parker on 32.
There is just one game left in the Seniors' Winter League where Bryan Wooding is in pole position with 315 stableford points, followed closely by Steve French with 314 and Brian Poyton with 312.
The annual presentation evening and dinner is on Saturday, March 12 and the Ladies Section annual meeting is on Thursday, March 17.
At Bewdley Pines Golf Club, the Seniors' February Medal division one was won by Mike John with gross 82, handicap 18, net 64. Mike Brewer was second with Mick Robinson third.
Division Two: 1st Trevor Eccleshall 81-19-62 on the last 9, 2nd Dave Kettle 82-20-62, 3rd D Sutton 96-28-68.
There were 52 competitors in the Pro Shop Competition which was won by M.Powell with 41 points on the last nine. Second was S Watkins with 41. and M Pritchard was third with 39.
The Pro Shop Qualifying Competition held on February 5 was won by J Giles. Second was J N Saunders with Fred Taylor third.
Pat Bowater came first in the February Medal in the Ladies Section at Wyre Forest Golf Club with gross 106, handicap 36, net 70.
Val Bow was second, followed by Karrie Askeland and Sue Giblin.
