Alvechurch boss Peter Frain believes the next four weeks could "make and break" his Lye Meadow teams' season.

The next few weeks will see the Redditch Road club face two semi-finals as they take on Racing Club Warwick in the Polymac Services League Cup and Castle Vale in the Worcestershire Senior Urn as well as continuing their comeback in the Midland Alliance.

Frain said: "We've got a great chance, we're in two major semi-finals so we just need to keep that professionalism going right up to the end of the season.

"For the league cup its two legs and the big plus for us is that we're at home in the second leg.

"If we can come back from there with a 0-0 then it's in our hands.

"We went there earlier in the season and they beat us comfortably and they're a big strong side so it's going to be difficult."

Alvechurch will take on RC Warwick on Tuesday, March 1 and the return at Lye Meadow will be on Tuesday, March 8.

Frain prepared his troops for the tie against Midland Combination Premier outfit Castle Vale with a friendly against Highgate recently and the Church came away with a 3-0 win.

Even Frain got on the pitch himself with 10 minutes to go and didn't disappoint with a great strike to settle the encounter.

He added: "Castle Vale are also a useful side but it's a different proposition for us because they're in the league below.

"But again we've prepared for it well and although it was only a friendly against Highgate it was a useful insight for the lads."

Alvechurch will travel to Castle Vale on Tuesday, February 22.
