ATHLETICS: ALCESTER Grammar School runners picked up half of the awards on offer at the County Schools Cross Country Championships at Princethorpe College.
The Birmingham Road School pupils took home four of the eight trophies including senior girls, senior boys minor girls and inter boys.
The grammar school's junior girls came in third missing out on first by three points.
Lucy Oldham, Nileena Premchand and Hannah Price took the senior girls' category with Price winning the race.
Will Senior, Joe Donaghue and Alex Hood were victorious in the senior boys' event.
Alice Hale, Brooke Maddison, Millie Senior, Philippa James and Suzie Britt won the minor girls' division.
Oli Senior, Mark Langley, Mark Turner and Chris Pick won AGS their fourth trophy in the inter boys event.
Caroline Brookes of the Alcester Grammar School PE department said nine of the students are now likely to go on to the National Championships in Norfolk in March.
