STRIKER Richard McGuire misses Droitwich FC's match away at Handsworth United tonight as Spa try to stop the rot (7.45pm kick off).
McGuire, who has been in prolific form for Spa as they carved out a 12 game unbeaten run in the Midland Combination Division Two, misses tonight's must win game because of work commitments.
The forward's absence is a blow for manager Kevin Blaber who has watched his side lose their last two matches.
Chairman Dave West places the blame on the players after defeats to University of Birmingham and Chelmsley Town.
He said: "The players need to knuckle down.
"They have got a little complacent in the last few weeks.
"It's a shame because before that we were building an excellent run."
Damon Harris also misses the match because of work commitments.
However, Ian Cottrill is expected to start the match against high flying Handsworth.
West said: "Ian is a big player for us and is one of the few who did perform against Chelmsley.
Spa, who still have seven games in hand on leaders University of Birmingham, face a difficult task as Handsworth will use players from feeder club, Highgate United.
West said: "When Highgate aren't playing Handsworth can put out a much stronger side. So we'll be up against a very good team."
After Handsworth Droitwich go to second from bottom Warwick Town on Saturday (2.45pm kick off).
