A BUCKETLOAD of cash has been donated to The Mayor's Appeal to help the victims of the Asian tsunami.
More than £2,000 was handed over to The Mayor of Worcester Allah Ditta from Drummonds bar.
A collection of top musicians gathered at the bar in New Street, Worcester, for a charity concert last month.
Former Worcester tribute band The Beatless and their manager Tony Gibbon organised the event, which featured local groups Medford, The Lightness, The Badgers, Come Together, Woody & The Stuntcocks, The Reflections, Fingers and The Disciples.
They raised a total of £2,180.43 for the disaster appeal.
"I was really delighted to receive this cheque for the appeal," said Coun Ditta.
"Our total is really going up now thanks to the dedication of the people of Worcester."
