A TALE of mystery and humour will be keeping Droitwich youngsters on the edge of their seats as the Norbury Theatre is brought alive by Bats in the Belfry.
Worcestershire writer Angela Lanyon's latest children's tale is up-to-date. When a village post office is earmarked for closure, only the bats in the belfry can save the day.
"It is a wonderful story," said co-ordinator Margaret Withers. "Because of the bats living in the belfry, the post office can not be knocked down and is saved. It's quite topical really.
"I'm sure all the children will really enjoy it."
It is the latest production in the Friar Street theatre's children's programme, which sees one play every month staged for youngsters.
The performance starts at 2.30pm and tickets are £1.30.
