WEST Worcestershire MP Sir Michael Spicer dropped in on an old people's home in Malvern this week for a triple birthday celebration.
Sir Michael visited Friends of the Elderly's Geraldine Court Midweek Club in Geraldine Close, Barnard's Green, on Tuesday.
The charity is marking its centenary this year and Sir Michael was also at the home to join in a double 90th birthday celebration for Lillian Layland and Thora Barber.
"We were thrilled to hear that Sir Michael could spare some time and visit our members," said Midweek Club manager Angie Edwards.
"Lillian and Thora were also delighted with the visit."
Friends of the Elderly helps older people in Malvern through its two Care Homes - Davenham and Perrins, the Geraldine Court Midweek Club, the Alexander Gardens Monday and Friday Club and its Home Support Service - launched in June last year
Mr Spicer said: "I'd like to congratulate Friends of the Elderly for reaching this incredible milestone."
"One hundred years of help is a fantastic achievement. They've made an enormous difference to the lives of older people in Malvern."
