A VALE couple renewed their vows in front of millions on Valentine's Day when they took part in GMTV's Breakfast Show.
Claire and David Fletcher from Church Walk, Norton were chosen by GMTV who invited viewers to write in to say why they deserved to attend a ceremony at Blenheim Palace.
Mrs Fletcher, a teaching assistant at Blackminster Middle School, Evesham, decided to enter the competition unknown to her husband.
She wanted to thank him for the support he gave her after an accident resulting in both her legs being broken.
The pair who have been married for 25 years, were joined by 49 other couples from around the country on Monday at a ceremony conducted by Rev Lionel Fanthorpe.
Mrs Fletcher, who husband DAvid is a BT engineer based in Evesham, said: "It was a brilliant day to remember."
The couple enjoyed the day sipping champagne and cake at the Palace in the company of breakfast presenters Kate Garroway and Richard Arnold.
