AT the February meeting, Mrs Jean Armishaw demonstrated painting on silk. Several members had a go themselves.

There is a skittles match on February 23 and tickets are booked for Me and My Girl at the Rose Theatre on March 8.

Members decided to cancel the January meeting as from next year and to make the social evening in August a scheduled meeting.

The craft and cookery show will take place later this year.

There are several meetings in the near future. Names were taken for the new speakers' evening, the resolutions meeting and the annual council meeting on March 22.

Competition winners were Pat Downton and Nan Newton.

The next meeting is at Habberley Church Hall on March 3 at 7.30pm.
