A JUDO tournament raised £300 for Operation Covert.
The contest, at the home of The Samurai Judo Club in Lisle Avenue, Kidderminster, saw clubs from throughout Wyre Forest battle it out.
School-based clubs and eight other clubs took part in last month's tournament.
Andrew Haffner, who runs the club, said: "We try and work for some charities every year and we particularly like charities that involve local children.
"The Scout hut does what we do, which is getting children involved in worthwhile activities. Also, if we do some work for charity, from the point of view of the children, that is character building."
He said The Samurai Judo club dominated the competition with six gold medals while Bewdley Judo Club took three golds.
He added: "As well as fielding 25 players in the competition, the Samurai also had eight of their junior officials refereeing alongside the senior referees."
