YOUNG and old are showing their support for the tsunami victims by snapping up their Evening News Wishbands.
The aquamarine bands are "flying off the shelves" of newsagents across Worcestershire with everyone wanting to get in on the fund-raising act.
"They are selling so well," said Hansa Patel, owner of Ambleside News in Ambleside Drive, Brickfields, Worcester.
"It's not just the children that are buying them, all sorts of people are coming in for them."
Mrs Patel said she had already sold more than 300 from her shop alone.
Thousands of the Wishbands have already been sold and people are wearing them with pride to show their support for the victims of the Boxing Day disaster.
Make sure you get yours before they all sell out. The Wishbands cost just £1.50 and are available from newsagents, schools and direct from the Evening News. Every penny will go to the tsunami relief effort.
