A BROADWAY charity, which helps solve people's problems by pointing them in the right direction is hoping to expand its services from its new premises.
Signpost has just moved to its fourth new home in Russell Square, Broadway next door to the parish council office, and hopes to open for longer if more volunteers join.
The charity which is manned by more than 20 volunteers, advises people on helpful services.
Signpost, which also covers surrounding village areas, is currently open on Monday's and Thursday's from 10am to 3pm.
Representatives from organisations including Age Concern and DIAL attend Signpost every Monday and offer advice.
Appointments can also be made with Turning Point, a service which gives advice and support to people of any age with drug related problems including users, their families and friends, and Worcester Blue Badge Clinic.
Penny Ingles, (corr) Signpost chairman and co-founder said: "Sometimes people don't know where to turn so we signpost them to the right services but we don't make decisions for them. We hope to open more times and days, there's no point in the office being empty, but we do need more volunteers if we are going to open longer hours. We are very much a team here and we're thrilled to bits about the new building - it's in such a good position."
An open day is being held at Signpost on Saturday, February 26 from 10am to 3pm where people can enjoy a cup of coffee at the new premises and find out more about the charity's service.
