LAST Sunday's morning service at St Peter's Church was a family occasion when Sarah Victoria May Warburton, of Colletts Green, was baptised by Reverend David Nichol.
The quiz evening in aid of Worcestershire Wildlife Trust is on Saturday, February 26 at 7.30pm (not Friday as stated last week). Teams of four at £4 a head are needed and can be booked in on (01886) 884372. The event, in Powick Parish Hall, starts at 7.30pm.
Women's World Day of Prayer will be held at St James' Church, Callow End on Friday, March 4 at 7.30pm. All women of any denomination - or none - are invited to join this service of light arranged by the women of Poland, and held on this day throughout the world.
1st Powick Brownies will not meet today (Friday) as it is half-term. Seven girls are joining in the Worcester Thinking Day on Air event tomorrow (Saturday) at Norton Village Hall where they will be able to talk to Brownies across the UK and overseas. Brownies meet again on Friday, February 25.
