A fun exploration of the human body through dance entertained children at the Malvern Theatres this week.
The Funny Bones Dance Project taught children to explore how their heart, muscles and major organs work, during two-hour dance workshops.
Sessions, aimed at children aged five to 13, were organised by the theatres, in conjunction with dance group danceFest and Worcestershire County Council.
Emma-Jane Benning, education manager at the venue, said: "I'm really pleased with it all. The holiday activities are gaining in popularity each time we do them."
She said it was important that the theatres offered activities for younger people.
"This is a positive alternative to child care and, after all, these children could well be our future audience."
Theatres staff have organised Easter holiday workshops and are now trying to secure funding for a three-week activity course for the summer holidays.
