MEMBERS of St Peter and St Paul's church, Upton, got together for a parish lunch on Saturday.
Held in the Church Rooms, the event was attended by 30 people, who enjoyed the cookery of Debbie Price, Olive Latham, Betty Willcox and Jan Davies.
Churchwarden David Forgan said: "Everyone enjoyed themselves and had a very nice meal."
He added that Reverend Canon Dr Christopher Hardwick had announced a series of church events for 2005 after the meal.
These include concerts, exhibitions and a meal at Upton's Bangladeshi restaurant, Pundits, on March 13 to raise funds for the church.
Tickets, priced £10, are available from the parish office on 01684 591241, on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
