WEST Malvern travelled to Inkberrow on Saturday and in a game much governed by high winds and persistent rain, ran out winners.
INKBERROW RESERVES 3, WEST MALVERN 4
West Malvern were in front after 15 minutes when a through-ball found Mike Dean, who converted with ease.
They increased the score after 17 minutes when Mitchell Probert glanced the ball home following a free-kick. West Malvern went three up when Mike Dean found room and beat the offside trap to score.
Two minutes later Inkberrow reduced the arrears when a shot was deflected past keeper Powell.
In the 55th minute West Malvern went further ahead when a free-kick by Dougie Hawes deceived everyone and rolled into the net.
Inkberrow hit back and in the 70th minute reduced the arrears. In a grandstand finish they scored again but West Malvern hung on to get the three points.
