I would like to thank people from The Splash, Banana Fitness, Malvern Theatres' 'Chance to Dance' group and friends for the contributions of pens, pencils, crayons etc which has enabled me to carry two sports bags full to The Gambia, where I will be visiting Boraba school with colleagues from Castlemorton Primary School. They will more than replenish the pencil cases the pupils donated last year.
Among us we carried T-shirts donated by Leonard Hudson, which Key Stage 2 children had each personalised and printed with a design for 'a special friend' in the new nursery at Boraba School.
This year the pupils donated 130 baseball caps. Also in our baggage was a variety of other donations, including hand puppets, football kits and pump bags.
Thank you to everyone who has helped us. We know it will all be appreciated.
Jane Smith, Longridge Road, Malvern.
