MOVING house safely is the focus of Malvern Neighbour-hood Watch's latest campaign.
Posters and leaflets, giving crime prevention advice to people in the process of moving, have been distributed to estate agents in the area.
The information gives tips on how to ensure people's property and belongings are secure, both before and after moving house.
Malvern Neighbourhood Watch co-ordinator Clive Marlow said: "The information is common sense really but we want to remind people about it."
Tips for before the move include ensuring all belongings are covered by insurance, only allowing people with an appointment to view your home and only lending keys to someone you trust.
Changing the locks and alarm codes of new addresses and marking all valuable belongings with your new post-code are also recommended in the leaflet.
Adrian Symonds, Neighbour-hood Watch administrator for South Worcestershire, said: "This is a really great idea and a good example of Neighbour-hood Watch working on its own initiative to launch crime prevention campaigns."
