WORCESTER athlete Anna Bailey has continued her successful streak in one of sport's most demanding events.
Bailey secured a gold medal in Boston, USA, at the World Indoor Rowing Championship.
The 53-year-old secured her medal in the women's 50-54 heavyweight category in a competitive field of athletes from all over the world.
She has already achieved notable success in recent indoor rowing events, including a gold medal at the 2004 AXA PPP Healthcare British Indoor Rowing Championship.
The world championship is one of the toughest physical challenges around.
