COLWALL romped home in the Worcestershire Cricket Board Monday Indoor League with a six-wicket beating of Old Vigornians.
Their batsmen were in tremendous form and lost no wickets in reply to their opponents' 68-6 which stuttered from the start.
Young Mike King claimed a rare indoor maiden in his excellent figures of 2-4 and he trapped Paul Judge LBW in the second over for nine.
James Wagstaff (1-15) was also successful, while Rob Fardon and Nick Major both scored nine runs for Old Vigornians.
In reply, Andy Sutton and Henry McLeron set off quickly and bagged 49 runs in six overs.
Sutton had to retire on 25 and McLeron on 26 but King (7 not out) and Mark Shouler (6 not out) saw Colwall home.
In an exciting match, Droitwich 'C' defeated Worcester Nomads 'B' by a single wicket at the Royal Grammar School.
Both captains played crucial parts as Dave Pearson blasted 33 not out for Nomads but Mike Rogers (22 not out) steered home the town side.
Nomads lost opener Matt Ormerod early on but Steve Medley and James Smith brought respectability to the score.
Medley had to retire and Smith departed for 16 before Pearson played his big role, supported by the returning Medley (26 not out) with 12 runs off the last eight balls.
In Nomads' 93-4, Droitwich's Jamie Alford took 1-24 and Craig Hunt 1-23 before they then set about catching the total.
Although Droitwich lost three wickets in the ninth over when they looked like cruising home, Rogers still carried them through.
Dan Garbett added 21 and Hunt 27 in Droitwich's 94-5, while Ormerod took 2-29 and Guy Davies 1-23.
Fixtures, Monday: Colwall v Dominies & Guild (8pm), Avoncroft v Worcester Nomads 'B' (9pm).
