HEREFORD United's out-of-favour players get their chance to shine at Edgar Street tonight in the GLS Cup fourth round clash with Northwich Victoria (7.45).
Bulls manager Graham Turner will use the low-priority tie as an ideal opportunity to give several squad members a much-needed run out.
Goalkeeper Ben Scott, defenders Andy Tretton and Tom Smith, midfielder Graham Hyde and striker Lee Mills are all poised to start.
Teenage midfielders Andy Williams and Sam Gwynne are also likely to be given a chance to prove their worth.
Regulars selected for Saturday's 1-0 Nationwide Conference victory over Canvey Island seem set to get a breather.
United made it through to the last eight of the competition's northern section after crushing Burton Albion 4-2 at Eton Park in the previous round.
Turner is adamant he wants to guide the Bulls into the next round, although he concedes he is more interested in the performances of his players.
He said: "We've got a number of players coming back from injury and trying to stake a claim back in the first team.
"A few of them have got something to prove. So for them it's a very important game and they will want to do well.
"It's also a good chance for a couple of our younger players to come in and show what they can do. We are just looking at individual performances.
"But of course, we want to win every game and this one is no different."
Northwich enter the fixture having earlier dumped out doomed Conference club Leigh RMI in the third round, winning 1-0 after extra-time.
