THERE will be no need for wellies in Worcester as the blizzards forecast across the Midlands for tonight and tomorrow will miss the Faithful City according to Evening News weatherman Paul Damari.
"Substantial snow has been forecast all week, but here we've got away with just an icy coating each night," he said.
"There will be some sleet or snow over the coming day or so, but I am not predicting any disruption or blizzards."
He said slate grey skies would hang over the city tomorrow, bringing with them sleet and snow, but by the time Friday comes around it will have changed to rain and sleet.
"The weekend should be dry with higher temperatures," he added.
