A SNIP-happy Malvern woman's dreams of becoming a full-qualified hairdresser could face the chop - because she can't find a willing volunteer.
Twenty-seven-year-old Kelly Hibbert, of Marsh Close, Malvern, has been training at Malvern College for the past two years and has been trying out her skills on clients.
However, now she needs a number of volunteers who have shorter hair to do perms on to complete her training and show she is a cut above the rest.
so far she has been unsuccessful in finding anyone and it is the only stumbling block in her way to continuing her love of hairdressing in her spare time.
Although it is not her main job, the keen hairdresser - who works in a housing department by day - is looking to build up a number of customers out of office hours.
"I joined the training course because I've always been interested in hair and beauty and once I started I knew hairdressing was a brilliant hobby for me to pursue," she said.
"I've done cuts, colours and various other styling on a number of clients.
''I now I need to find someone with short hair who wants a perm."
The willing volunteers would receive a hairdo from Kelly at Malvern College.
Appointments would be on a Monday or Thursday evening and anyone interested should call the college on 01684 584561.
