TWO thieves smashed down the front door of a Wythall house and demanded the homeowner hand over his car keys.
The thieves entered the porch of the Meadow Road home last Tuesday at about 8pm and ordered the man to give them his car keys.
When he refused, they smashed in his front door, confronted him and demanded he hand over his keys.
Fearing for his safety, the man handed over the keys to his silver Seat Leon Cupra, registration WA03 VJU.
The men then drove off at speed in the car.
They are described as white, about 6ft tall, of slim build and in their late teens to mid 20s.
They were wearing dark tops, which were zipped up to the chin and wearing hats, either beanie-style or baseball caps.
The man was not physically hurt by his ordeal but he was very shaken.
Following the incident, forensic examinations were carried out at the house.
Police officers also carried out house-to house inquiries.
Officers have been liaising with West Midlands Police as it is believed the thieves may have headed towards either Shirley or Solihull Lodge area.
Police are urging anyone with information about this incident to call them on 08457 444 888 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
