A MEMBER of the public gave chase after spotting a man breaking into cars in Crabbs Cross.
The man was forcing his way into the vehicles in a car park on Evesham Road at about 10.35pm on Tuesday, February 15, when he was disturbed by members of the public.
One of them gave chase but the raider escaped.
Several vehicles were damaged, including a Ford Mondeo, which suffered £100 damage when a window was smashed and the door handle tampered with.
The man is described as white, 5ft 10ins tall, of stocky build and aged about 20. He had blond hair and was wearing dark clothing and a baseball cap.
