WORCESTERSHIRE golden boy Leslie Law was due to pick up his MBE today from the Queen.
The 39-year-old equestrian Olympic gold medallist said he was overwhelmed at receiving yet another title.
He won individual Olympic gold and Great Britain team silver on Shear L'Eaue in the three-day event at last year's Games, which were held in Athens.
"What a unbelievable and amazing year it was," he said.
"I would never had predicted that last year would turn out the way it has, I've never known anything like it.
"To be crowned Olympic champion, and now to be awarded an MBE, is fantastic."
