STUDLEY residents who once used a path through the site of the old Duke of Marlborough pub car park are being asked to send a letter saying so to the parish council.
The Advertiser reported last week how the parish council wanted a route through the site of the now demolished pub adopted as a right of way. It needs to prove the route from New Road to Alcester Road was widely used by the public over a 20-year period and is gathering evidence.
Parish council chairman Bill McCarthy said: "If anyone is supportive, we would love to hear from them.
"All they have to do is put it in writing and sign it and send it to us.
"If we can get enough evidence, then the idea would have to be considered officially."
The site is due to be developed into sheltered accommodation for the elderly.
People can write to Studley Parish Council, Studley Village Hall, High Street, Studley B80 7HJ.
