THE future of transport in the area will be the focus at a county meeting for the public at Redditch Town Hall.
Worcestershire County Council is formulating its five-year Local Transport Plan (LTP) covering 2006-2011 and need the public to have their say.
Cabinet member for environment and sustainability, councillor Alwyn Davies, said: "We are being encouraged to consider innovative solutions, making better use of the road, rail, cycleway and water transport networks we already have.
"We also need to think beyond 2011, to 2020 and beyond to understand what transport networks we need to enable us to support our aspirations for excellence in education and health, enable economic development and to create an inclusive society living and working in a clean environment."
The town hall meeting, on Thursday, March 3, is at 6pm.
