STUART Watkiss plans to sign striker Mark Rawle after Kidderminster Harriers hit another brick wall in their relegation fight last night.
Though Harriers ended a run of three defeats by drawing 1-1 at home to Bristol Rovers, results did not go their way at the bottom of Coca-Cola League Two.
Rushden and Diamonds beat Bury 3-0 and now lead Harriers by seven points with a vastly superior goal difference, while bottom side Cambridge United defeated Cheltenham 1-0.
Watkiss admitted: "With 12 games to go, it's going to be a big task to get out of it. We still have to play Rushden at home which is going to be a massive game."
But the Harriers boss hopes to pep up his attack with Oxford United forward Rawle, 25, in time for Saturday's trip to Rochdale as Gary Birch is due to have a knee operation today.
Watkiss added: "Mark's quick and awkward. With due respect, he's not a refined player but he's a handful."
