HAVING read both local newspapers in this fine town of Bromsgrove since I began working here, I'm pleased to see that community needs are being addressed.
However, I am slightly confused about your recent story on Catshill day centre.
Both the Advertiser/Messenger and the Standard claim to have saved the centre. Now I am all for newspapers working together for the community but on this occasion I have to ask - which newspaper was it that really saved the day?
Maybe you could clarify the situation in your next issue.

l No need for confusion or clarification as such - I think both newspapers can make equal claims to have influenced matters. We are both newspapers who care about the community, we have both carried stories on the centre and I am more than happy for both of us to share the credit for what has been achieved.
