IN response to the recent article 'Rubbish - why can't we do something about it?' We and only we can!
If we don't do anything, nothing will change. We complain but never to the right people. My wife complained because the collectors left bags at the roadside because they were not in the wheelie bins that were full
The response that she got was that it was "fly-tipping!" Over a week later the bags still remain.
I have sent a letter of complaint to Bromsgrove District Council with my grievances.
I do believe it is wrongly applying the term - fly-tipping
As far as I am concerned what we have is negligence by the local authority. If things are wrong we need to complain to the right people.
